Job Title: Upper School Chemistry Classroom Teacher Employment Status : Full Time, Exempt Reports to: Upper School Principal 9-12 Start Date: August 2023 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Following the school calendar. Additional time as needed for after-school meetings, conferences, and professional development Qualifications: The candidate needs to be qualified to teach 9-12 Chemistry in the state of Ohio The ability to create lesson plans and overall program planning An understanding of best practices for quality instruction and student achievement The ability and willingness to work as part of a team of classroom teachers and administrators to plan how to best meet the needs of students The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and teachers The ability to keep accurate and thorough records in our learning management system Must be a committed Christian who is comfortable in a multi-denominational Christian community CHCA is an equal opportunity employer. MENTAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate.
