We encourage you to visit our website to learn more www.hcdsn.org.We are seeking a positive, organized individual to: Coordinate maintenance of the organization's facilities, buildings, and grounds; to include, but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, environmental, safety, custodial, and event coordination. Coordinate procurement of the organization's fixed assets; to include but not limited to vehicles, buildings, materials and supplies, and regular services. Assures implementation of strategies to find the most cost-effective services. Assures best practices in minimizing expenses so HCDSN can invest its growth in services. Assures HCDSN follows policies in the areas of procurement, facility maintenance, and funding. Coordinates/completes applications for special grants, requests for proposals, and specialized project applications. This position performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities requiring the establishment of interpersonal relationships with other departments; internal and external partners, and the public requiring a high degree of professionalism, tact, good judgement, and communication skills. Qualifications : Ability to follow oral and written instructions, procedures, and regulations. Ability to juggle competing priorities. Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive work style. Demonstrate strength in working under pressure, setting priorities for self and for others, coordinating with others to meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with appropriate attention to detail. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team setting. Demonstrate professional behaviors and calmly address conflicts and misunderstandings. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Exercises excellent judgement and decision-making skills. High proficiency in using computer with related knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include Excel, Word, and other related programs, and the Internet. Operates a computer, telephone, copiers, and other general office equipment as necessary to complete the essential functions. Possess a courteous, professional, and helpful attitude. Ability to respond effectively and positively to feedback. Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Education and Training: Minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management or general business operations and supervising others. Bachelors degree preferred in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration or high school diploma with more than 5 years direct experience in facilities management or general business operations.
