Ideal Candidate: * Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology * EUS and ERCP training required Opportunity Details: The incoming physician will join a team of fellowship-trained specialists in advanced upper GI/hepatobiliary surgery, radiation oncology, and pathology who complement an established group of medical oncologists, gastroenterologists, and colorectal surgeons. * Hospital-employed position * Call schedule is 1:3 * Physician will help provide foundation for cancer center aiming for COC accreditation * Licensed to practice in South Carolina Compensation Highlights: * Competitive starting salary * Health insurance * CME allowance * 401k with generous match * Malpractice coverage * Pre-employment expenses paid 369-bed tertiary referral center Offers specialized services such as: * ACS verified Level I Adult Trauma Center * DHEC approved Level II Pediatric Trauma Center * Cardiac surgery * Neurosurgery * Pediatric intensive care * Three emergency departments staffed with residency trained emergency medicine physicians
