Job Role: Private Client Assistant Location: Bedford Perks: 25 days holiday + Bank, On site training and development. Office based & Full Time Are you an experienced Legal Administrator, Secretary or Assistant seeking a change in scenery or a new challenge in the legal sector? then this role could be for you as we are looking to assist a regional legal 500 client of ours in their search for a new Private Client Assistant, to join their busy and thriving team. Prior private client, private wealth legal experience is not required but would be beneficial as our client does offer on site training. Day to day duties include but may not be limited to; Dealing with queries raised by clients, solicitors and other involved parties Provide client updates and monitor matter progression Opening and closing matters on the case management system compliant with the firm's AML and quality standards and SRA regulations Supervised drafting of basic correspondence, forms and documents. Submitting/registering forms and legal documents Probate Registry, Certainty and HMRC Responsible for the organisation, safe custodian and release of Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney's, Probates and other associated legal documents. You must have; Previous work experience as legal assistant/secretary Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office Advanced computer literacy (word, excel, outlook) Working knowledge of case management software Proficiency in English Excellent administrative and organisational skills A keen interest in the area of law Excellent communication skills If you could be interested in hearing more about this opportunity then apply within or be sure to reach out to Stephan Kuhn of Simpson Judge.
