Senior Procurement and Contracts Officer – Lewisham Temp Vacancy Umbrella Rate: £500.00p/d Full-Time 37 hours Job Purpose: Responsible for the sourcing, purchasing, procurement and effective contract management of new outsourced Digital and IT services. Experience in delivering different aspects of the procurement process, through requirement gathering, identifying the route to market, to evaluation, moderation, contract award and overseeing delivery of the contract. Contribute to the Procurement pipeline, ensuring the regular review of contracts, making strategic decisions to deliver better Digital and IT services and better value in terms of delivery, performance and value for money for Lewisham. Operate an efficient and effective purchasing process, creating high colleague and supplier satisfaction. Helping business areas provide returns to the wider Corporate Procurement team too. Accountabilities: Working with the Procurement and Contracts Manager, deliver successful procurements of specific IT & Digital solutions. This also includes sourcing, purchasing, procurement and effective contract management. Deliver small to medium value procurement, through the end to end procurement process from governance, gathering requirements, agreeing timescales with business areas, weighting and pricing models, evaluation, moderation, contract award, also considering technical architecture and data protection rules within the above processes. Deliver the contract award process, from notice, through clarifications and moderation to award, and drafting the contract with input from the legal team. Accountable for embedding high quality contracts with detailed Statement of Works So W, charges and insurance, with service level agreements SLA and key performance indicators KPI in place. Knowledge of IT & Digital other public body procurement frameworks such as Crown Commercial Services Digital Outcomes and Specialists DOS and G-Cloud. Contribute to the.
