Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The Medical Staff Registration Administrator assists with administrative activities related to medical staff onboarding, medical staff bylaw support; and information management related to medical staff documentation. As a member of the Provincial Medical Administration Office and under the general direction of the Provincial Medical Staff Immigration and Onboarding Specialist, the incumbent will work closely with a variety of entities to support the onboarding of physician assistants/clinical assistants to Shared Health/Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Programs. Under the direction of the Executive Director and Manager of the Provincial Medical Administration Office, the incumbent will also assist with administrative activities related to supporting medical staff bylaws and information management. Experience Five years directly related experience in progressively responsible administrative roles required. Previous experience in healthcare administration required. Experience with the development, maintenance and ongoing report generation from spreadsheets and databases required. Requires experience interacting with medical staff in highly sensitive situations.
