The Business Manager will collaborate with various departments, manage financial processes, and implement strategic initiatives to ensure the continued growth and success of Lavner Education. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Management Help to develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls. Help to procure inventory within budget and establish best purchasing practices. Operational Efficiency Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with various departments to streamline communication and workflow. Lead and mentor a cross-functional team to enhance productivity and teamwork. Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements when necessary. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Strategic Planning Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and goals. Assess market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities. Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and execute strategic plans. Team Leadership Lead a team of department heads and administrative professionals. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. Risk Management Identify and assess potential risks to the organization. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in risk management. Vendor and Contract Management Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers. Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Review and approve contracts for compliance and risk considerations. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years professional work experience in business management, finance, or a related role with a track record of achieving results Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
