The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate law, particularly in leasing transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial leasing agreements and the ability to provide strategic counsel to clients. Duties:Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leasing agreements, including leases, subleases, amendments, and related documents.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex leasing issues, providing guidance and recommendations to clients.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop leasing strategies that align with business objectives.Advise clients on lease enforcement matters, including defaults, breaches, and remedies.Represent clients in leasing disputes, negotiations, and litigation proceedings when necessary.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting leasing transactions.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and legal staff as needed. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on commercial real estate leasing.Proven track record of successfully handling complex leasing transactions and disputes.Strong understanding of real estate law, including landlord-tenant relationships, leasing regulations, and property rights.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and client satisfaction. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial leasing agreements.Strong legal research and analytical abilities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strategic thinking and ability to provide practical legal advice.Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
