The ideal candidate will have second or third chair experience in patent litigation and preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in patent litigation, including drafting, responding to motions, and conducting legal research. Duties:Manage patent litigation cases from inception to resolution, working closely with senior attorneys.Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and other legal documents related to patent litigation matters.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on patent law issues, including infringement and validity analyses.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies and tactics.Participate in all phases of discovery, including document review, drafting discovery requests, and preparing for depositions.Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other court proceedings as necessary.Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.Organize and manage case files and documentation efficiently. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the District of Columbia Bar; additional state bar admissions are advantageous.Minimum of 4 years of experience working on patent litigation cases in a law firm environment.Second or third chair experience in patent litigation is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.Strong understanding of patent law principles, procedures, and USPTO regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred. Certifications:Admission to the District of Columbia Bar; additional state bar admissions are advantageous. Skills:Proficiency in conducting legal research and drafting high-quality legal documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
