Job Description Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is looking to hire a Farm Manger to help run our Central Valley citrus operation, specifically in the Ivanhoe Area. This position will report directly to the Director of Farm Operations, and will be involved in all aspects of our citrus farming operation. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and must have experience working in farm management. Job Duties Job duties include, but are not limited to the following: Managing employees, equipment and farm productivity Irrigation Scheduling Weed Control Pest Management Fertilizer Planning Monitoring Tree Health Human Resources, Safety and Budget Management Skills & Tech Knowledge Understanding of plant agronomy Knowledge of different types of soils, water, fertilizers and tree health Know how to communicate with team members Must be organized and hard working Must be able to drive farming equipment Must be a hands-on manager Must be able to drive and travel for the job; a clean driving record is a must Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions, including nights Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Pay Offered/Benefits Competitive top pay offered Paid time off and sick leave Industry-leading health insurance and health wellness program that covers regular doctor visits, eye exams, etc. with only a minor copay 401(k) retirement with guaranteed matching contributions Powered by JazzHR
