Job Summary Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to support and augment the clinical staff at our Seattle clinic. This position will work closely with attending physicians to ensure that patients are getting efficient and professional medical care.Greet patients/room check-inObtain vitals/health assessmentShot Room/triage assignmentsReview medication and immunizationsMultiple primary testing: exhaled nitric oxide test, Spirometry, skin testing proceduresPerform vaccinations and immunotherapy injectionsEducation and delivery of nebulizer medicationsContinuing patient education and care planningCase management of specialized medications, i.e., XolairReferral oversightRequirements:Minimum QualificationsWorks well in a team environmentCommunicates in a clear, concise, and accurate manner - even when procedures are complexDemonstrates exceptional patient care and considerationCommitted to detailed, accurate organization and documentationSelf-motivated and efficient in multitaskingPreferred QualificationsElectronic Medical/Health Records (EMR/EHR) experienceKnowledge of AthenaExperience with Spirometry & Pulmonary Function TestsFamiliarity with skin testing preferredMicrosoft Office and keyboarding skillsRequired Licenses/CertificationsCurrent Washington State RN or LPN license at time of hireCurrent Basic Life Support certification (CPR & First Aid cards)Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
