A company is looking for an Economist (Commodity Market Analyst). Key Responsibilities: Develop, expand, and maintain databases on macroeconomic aggregates, agricultural commodity markets, and trade Conduct analysis of commodity markets and relevant policy developments affecting global prices Undertake research work on agricultural commodity markets using quantitative methods to analyze trends and projections Required Qualifications: Advanced university degree in Economics, Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, or related field Minimum three years of relevant experience in economics or related areas Working knowledge of English and another FAO official language Experience in commodity market analysis and economic research Proficiency in programming using R, STATA, Python, or other relevant languages
