Job Overview:Contribute significantly to the strategic growth of the private credit, acquisition financing, special situations, restructuring, and private equity practices.Play a crucial role in deal teams, overseeing signings and closings, and drafting initial debt commitment papers and credit documentation. Duties:Manage a diverse array of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance.Actively participate in direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and private equity-related corporate finance transactions. Requirements:Admission to and membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.7-10 years of experience in debt finance or related fields.Preferred experience as a key member of deal teams with responsibility for signings, closings, and drafting initial documentation. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Skills:Proficiency in debt finance and corporate law.Strong drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to excel within a collaborative team setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented approach to handling complex transactions.
